Reopening of American Spaces
U.S. Embassy Djibouti’s American Center and American Corner are reopening to the public on Monday, December 14, 2020. These spaces provide free access to American books, movies, and programs, as well as internet access and English language acquisition and practice materials.
- The American Center, located at the U.S. Embassy, will be open every Monday from 1:00-4:00 p.m., beginning on December 14. Only ten visitors will be permitted at a time and masks are required.
- The American Corner, located at the Chamber of Commerce, will be open daily from 9:00-4:00 p.m. Only six visitors will be permitted at a time and masks are required.
No reservation is required to visit the American Center or American Corner during their normal operating hours. Visitors are required to bring a valid photo ID and to respect all required health and safety measures.
