Event: The U.S. Embassy in Djibouti is assessing the possibility of arranging additional flights for U.S. citizens who wish to depart Djibouti.

On 30 March, the U.S. Embassy organized a special commercial flight from Djibouti to Addis Ababa where passengers boarded connecting flights to the United States.  If you were unaware of this flight, please enroll in the Smart Traveler Enrollment Program (STEP) to receive updates. The U.S. Embassy recommends U.S. citizens in Djibouti adhere to all measures put in place by the Djiboutian government due to the outbreak of COVID-19.
Effective March 15, 2020, the U.S. Embassy in Djibouti suspended all routine consular services.  For American Citizens Services, including emergency passports, please contact DjiboutiACS@state.gov.

The Department of State has issued a Global Level 4 Health Advisory for COVID-19.
