If your visa application was refused under section 221(g) of the Immigration and Nationality Act for necessary administrative processing, you will need to provide some additional information. Please complete Form DS-5535 Supplemental Questions for Visa Applicants only if instructed to do so by a consular officer in the letter you received at your interview or by email.

For any requested information that does not apply to you, respond “NOT APPLICABLE”. Failure to follow these instructions, or to provide complete information will delay processing.

Your visa application may be terminated per section 203(g) of the U.S. Immigration and Nationality Act if you do not submit the requested information within one year.
